I'm kind of curious how the first month's stats of current Twins players stacks up to recently departed Twins players.
Sounds like a useful thing to include in a game log post.
I'm working all three games of the weekend series, I have a feeling the atmosphere at the ballpark will be on the electric side.
Hope so!
Wife got us tickets to Friday’s game; I’ve warmed up to borderline excitement to see both some baseball and real actual Spring.
Weekends like this are why I gave up my 6 Gabe's per year in a season ticket group. I'd much rather use that money making a last minute decision based on the opponent, weather, and my schedule.
I'm liking spontaneity more the older I get.
Apparently the MLB wants to die.
Sinclair CEO: Bally Sports DTC Service “Bally Sports+” will cost $19.99/month or $189.99/year.
Expected to launch with 5 MLB teams (Rays, Marlins, Royals, Brewers, & Tigers) in June. https://t.co/Cp9dwvBOV5
To get all the Twins, Wild, and Wolves games I probably would, too, but I'd feel bad about it to make myself feel better.
I'm honestly not sure if I'll go through the motions of feeling bad about it. I'd like to watch the games, and I'd like Newbish and Newerbish to be able to watch Twins games.
I've had worse monthly payments.
If it weren't for the "in their local markets" part, I'd probably subscribe, too. If I could get the Minnesota lineup while living out in Cali, I'd probably do it. But, I'm guessing that's not doable with this plan.
I hope their app is an upgrade of their current streaming service. I use my cable login to stream games on the Bally Sports North website (not an app, the website itself) and there are somedays its utterly useless. Usually happens to Loons games. Maybe they are not soccer fans?
Yeah, it’s pretty bad. I’m currently stealing my parents login. I should probably buy them a gift or something.
Heh, the Twins are in first by 4 games (they technically have the 2nd best record in the AL, so it's not all due to the Central).
We are 7-2 in division games and 8-7 outside the division, so I'll give the Central some of the credit.
yeah, "not all due". but quite a bit.

Performance art.
Soccer-worthy.
