How’s this for impressive? Worldebot says there was only one valid answer after my THIRD guess. It took me SIX. Burned one word that was already eliminated, used another “valid” word not on the solution list.

I was scrolling through the list of countries when I noticed Tonga listed two entries. Then I remembered the volcano eruption/explosion and so recognized the island from the before/after images.
Ever play Globle? Saw Mags, I think, mention it on twitter. Kind of a fun Hot/Cold country search with no limit on the guessing.
Entries are free text, however, so if you absolutely don’t know the name of the hole in the map…you see if you can name all the countries on the African continent. I can do about 90%. It’s the landlocked ones that seem to be my trouble.

This felt like a great save, but wordlebot says there were only two option remaining for my 4th guess. Not that that repeatedly hasn’t stopped me from adding non-word guesses.

I though I had it for sure with bacon, and then couldn’t find anything else to fit. I eventually had to go off hard mode to guess a bunch of the letters I had left, and thankfully found the U.
