The Twins waived Chris Vallimont and he was claimed by Baltimore. I was a little surprised they gave up on him, but that's not intended as a criticism. He strikes out a lot of guys, but he's twenty-five and hasn't really had any success above Class A. He might get it figured out, but he's not showing any signs of it. I'm not surprised someone took a shot with him, and it could work out, but I'm also not upset that the Twins decided it was time to move on.
