2022 Game 85: Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox

Joe Ryan
vs
Lance Lynn

Lynn's first start against the Twins this year. He missed the first two months and was not good when he returned in June. That changed with his July 1 start against the Giants where he went six scoreless. Last year he was very good versus the Twins, surrendering only four runs across four starts. Thankfully the Twins still managed to go 2-2 in those games. Today is as good as any to reverse that luck and bring back the Lance Lynn the Twins experienced in 2018.

  1. the Twins have played 4 to 5 more games than the rest of the Central division. Thats pretty wild.

  2. Smart thinking on Rocco's part to have Pagan on in the 5th, plenty of time to get those runs back.

Also the Tigers destroyed the Guards again so a win would be really nice here.

      1. I think if Kirilloff would have turned to run to second base interference comes into play

    1. The Twins are going to have trouble scoring more runs than their pitchers can give up.
