I posted something in yesterday's game post, but a Twins starting pitcher made it through six innings for the first time in a month and a half.

Including position players, the Twins have had 33 players pitch for them this season. Last year the number was 35. 2019 it was 31 (tossing out the COVID shortened 2020 season)
This regime has built a stable of pitcher as stable as a Popsicle stick house
Part of that is just the way baseball works today. When your starters only go four or five innings, you're going to need a lot of relief pitchers.
They seem to have a propensity for picking pitchers who have had or who will need Tommy John surgery.
I broke down this week and bought a new furnace so that the furnace would not break down this winter. We threw in central air while we were at it since ours crapped out a couple of years ago. I'm also having them repair a few DIY duct runs that a former owner installed and adding a couple of ducts for the utility room and my office. The price was competitive, but it was the 3.99% financing that sold me, that's cheaper than a mortgage right now. Plus no interest and no payment for six month. Payment amount calculated after the promotion period, so we'll pay it down a few thousand even before we have to start making payments. Next project will be blowing more insulation into the attic and a new water softener. I'm focusing our first improvement projects on infrastructure. Next week when Mrs. Twayn is on PTO we're going to the bank for a home equity line of credit to finance our other projects. Time to use some of that free equity the market's given us over the last couple of years to make improvements.
Those projects have additional potential savings with the new Health & Climate bill if you time them right.

That Leon send last night was one of the worst.
This is great
