Minor Details: Games of August 18

The Kernels are one-hit wonders.  Rain was the big winner.

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE AT ST. PAUL

Rained out.  Will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday.

FORT MYERS AT PALM BEACH

The game was suspended with the Mighty Mussels leading 2-1 after two innings.  It appears that the game will be completed today before the regularly scheduled game.  I guess that makes it the suspended game an irregularly scheduled game.

The Mighty Mussels are 18-24, in fifth place in the Florida State League West, 2.5 games behind fourth-place Lakeland, 9.5 games behind Bradenton.  The Mighty Mussels won the first-half championship.
