Do you have to login to the FAFSA site to confirm that, or could it be done through one's loan servicer? Asking for a friend.
The poor FASFA website is not handling the traffic well.
Anyone know if this applies to loans that were consolidated with a private lender? That was a thing at a time that we took advantage of...
I don't believe so. I forget the process, but you are (were?) allowed a one time reconsolidation with the federal government which I jumped on when the ten year T-note dropped way out. I remember looking at the pros and cons then and it mentioned that if you went private, you wouldn't get any of the benefits of changes to the federal program.
The Twins 2023 schedule is out. They still play the Brewers in a two-game series on Tuesday-Wednesday in June and August. They open in Kansas City on March 30 and end on October 1 in Denver.

Gives me a canned opening for two of my Tuesday game logs. Thanks Commissioner Manfred!
that still makes absolutely no sense to me.
I didn't check all of them, but Yankees-Mets and Cubs-White Sox also play two-games series on Tuesday-Wednesday. That doesn't make it more sensible, but at least they're not singling the Twins out.
That doesn't surprise me. The league tends to be consistent in that. Consistently dumb in this case. I can't fathom why they wouldn't want Yankees-Mets on the weekend or any other matchup like that.

With the drop in division games, I could see the AL Central champ at under .500 next year.
Fingers crossed that more games against Oakland, LAAA, Nationals, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and the Cubs help offset the difference.
mmmm -- peanut butter, raspberry jam, bacon, arugula, and cheese on toasted ciabatta bread
listen, we call a lot of things sandwiches around these parts...
There was an undercover cop on Hill Street Blues that used to eat this kind of thing.
Twins: Rocco Baldelli, Manager of the Year
Key stat: Twins began season with 40.4% chance to make playoffs, per FanGraphs
There are many reasons the Twins have made such dramatic improvements from last year, and while Baldelli is just one of them, it can be difficult to ignore a manager who gets his team from worst to first.
Twins are in first?!
You can't expect baseball news to cycle through all the way to mlb.com that quickly
Didn't Baldelli also manage last year?
Didn't stop Molitor from pocketing the hardware.
True
I was shocked to see this was not a Will Leitch listicle.
!!!
The #MNTwins signed OF Billy Hamilton to a Minor League deal today. He'll initially be assigned to the FCL, down at the club's complex in Fort Myers.

Hmm. I might have to look into this.
This year's City Edition uniforms could be going in an interesting direction.

Sounds like he has a Monday opt-out date, so if we do see him, it will be soon.
Sunday, 11:59 p.m.: Billy Hamilton is called up to avoid his opting out.
Monday 12:01 a.m.: Billy Hamilton placed on the IL with a torn rotator cuff.
I shouldnt laugh but I totally LOL'd 😆
Boy, if that isn’t ever a comment on how the season is going…
cant be worse than throwing Tim Beckham in the outfield
Aww... now poor Jose Miranda is gonna be getting passed up for all the obvious Lin Manuel Miranda references.
