Having a split level is not conducive to crutches.

First day of school! I think I had forgotten what a quiet house sounds like.
Kids have been in a few weeks, but are both just sick enough to not go to school today (non-COVID edition) while the wife has to work in office and I can barely walk up the stairs. Should be fun.
Oof. I have surgery scheduled a week from Thursday. I'm going to have to forbid any sort of illness in the household...
The Little One started a new room at daycare today, and The Older Daughter starts kindergarten tomorrow.
Come tomorrow around 8:30 or so tomorrow morning, we'll have a quiet house for the first time in like 2 1/2 years.
The Twins are calling up one of the top pitching prospects in their system, as they’ll select the contract of right-hander Louie Varland to make his big league debut Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium, per Patrick Reusse of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
I'm sure that's going to go really well.
My brother, also a Louie, told me he read that Varland is the first Twins pitching prospect to debut with a start in the Bronx.
I think he can be a good pitcher, but I don't think he's likely to be one Wednesday.

Well, the Black Stallion won in his first debut race by two lengths, even with an injury.
If Varland wins Wednesday, we should call him "The Black Stallion".
I’m game!
Just putting this out there: If anyone in the cities is so inclined, the annual blood drive in memory of my godson is still looking for a couple donors this Saturday. Usually lots of food and little kids running around and having fun. Sign-up is here.
Done
Thanks! I'll watch for you!
I know that zooomx mentioned it the other day, but I was at his restaurant with Miss SBG on Sunday. We wanted a snack for our trip back from the homeland, so we dropped in and had a couple of appetizers. Lobster nachos and chicken quesadillas. Both were really, really good. Miss SBG, who is not easy to impress culinarily speaking, really liked both. Plus, zooomx came out and chatted for a few minutes. We really enjoyed the stop.
Those lobster nachos are amazing!
Prague is a wonderful city to walk in, so far (and their mass transit decent, too, although we're still getting used to the longer unfamiliar city/street names). Questionable weather coming, but I think we're going to start our first full day with a 48hr hop on-hop off pass w/river cruise.
Na zdraví!
Get used to to the trams and it'll make getting around a lot easier, but as you said a very walkable city.
Tonight's game postponed.
I had a game log all queued up for today's game. I could just slot for Wednesday afternoon. Let me know Wednesday game log person.
looks like sean.
Go for it. If you don't mind, I had a featured image ready that I'll use with your post instead.
MLBPA says majority of MiLB players have signed authorization cards. I wonder if MLB will recognize the union or if they will force an election.

Except for the sobbing.
I know it's the Angels, but wow.
