Looks like the Midwest is taking the change of season to heart as the temps start to settle in.

Was 92 on Monday afternoon in BMK. Frost on the car this morning.
Last year the Twins finished 73-89. Currently, they are 73-76. I certainly expect the Twins to win at least a few more games before the season ends, but when all is said and done it's quite possible their record won't be much better than it was last year.
FanGraphs says 79-83. Considering how they've played against the Royals this series, that feels optimistic.
This will be my last weekend of work at Target Field for the year, I'm doing Friday night and Sunday afternoon. I expect the mood will be melancholy and the crowds will be light. Next Thursday we have tickets for the last home game, and then I can turn my focus to football and hockey and hoops and spend my October weekends raking leaves and trimming trees and tuning up the snow blower. Winter is coming.
I might go to the Sunday game thinking I can get in for cheap.
My kids will be there to run the bases one more time
I was planning to volunteer for that duty, last day and all. I'll look for you.
If I just got a ticket to get in the building. how vigilant are you guys going to be if I move around in lower levels?
Except for premium sections like the dugout box, you're probably okay. Just act like you know where you're going.
Free, I have sat in my "purchased" seats once all season.
since you guys brought it up, someone posted this a couple days ago and i’ve thought about it a few times since.
Sous vide leg of lamb. Piled high on griddled rye with red wine onions, feta, provolone, gruyere and aioli. Served with natural jus for dipping. Come see us!!!! pic.twitter.com/NdHlyj8DUO
I love Block16! Their Duck Duck Goose Fries are great.
Mmmm. These I gotta try.
I'm obviously not in the clubhouse, and I can't know what's going on in players' heads. But from the outside, the Twins give the appearance of a team that can't wait for the season to end.
Someone needs to clue them in that it has already
I get that, but they're still getting paid to play these games.
They didn't play much today
Also Carlos Correa seems to have gotten the message that you need to produce some numbers if you want to opt out for a big new contract. Which is I guess ok but it sure would have been nice to see this CC in May, June, and July.
The first WGOM Convention took place 15 years ago today.
As an online community, we're pretty...mature.
That's misleading; I'd use "elderly" instead
Well, I can order from the senior menu now.
I just got back from Senior Fitness at the YMCA
I hired a 16 year old girl yesterday. I told her she looked familiar and she said her mom worked for me when she was in high school almost 20 years ago. yikes... I do feel elderly at times like this.

Luis (and Twins) dig themselves deeper holes...
That's a sandwich I'd give a try
