I don't know, they might be okay. But it's a little early to be talking championships, they still have to get around Rutgers and Nebraska.
Is this sarcasm? Is anyone in this cursed state talking championships? I have read some writers saying they have the inside track on the Big 10 west, which makes sense to me. Personally, they may be (so far) the best Gophers football team I have watched in the last 40 years. They also have a remarkably easy path (no Ohio State or Michigan as crossover matchup) to the Big Ten Championship. However... this is a Minnesota team and I am a Minnesota fan. I am preparing myself for a let down.
I guess if you have to ask if it's sarcasm it's not very good sarcasm.
Lions/Vikings off to the start you'd expect.
Twayn and pirate. Were you at at Target Field?
I was at Target Field, sections 118 and 119, then behind home plate for run the bases. Saw DPWY there.
Seems like the only games the Twins can win anymore are the ones Joe Ryan pitches.
I didn't realize the Twins had been eliminated from the division title, although it doesn't come as any surprise. They are technically still in contention for the wild card, although they could be eliminated from that today.
On Kids Appreciation Day, the Twins gave the Justice an autographed baseball from Twins legend
I can't think of a better way to show appreciation.
Cory mentioned that Urshela leads the team in infield hits with twenty. Is that a good thing, a bad thing, or just a thing?
BR says Urshela has 23 prior to today's game. Correa has 19. The team overall is a bit below average in that stat. Cleveland leads the league with Rosario leading that team at 33. I'm inclined to think of it as a thing rather than good or bad.
A hit's a hit, I say. We have guys that don't have that many, total
Jake Cave and the Bad D
The Twins gave Kurt Suzuki a nice little shoutout today, he came out of the dugout and tipped his cap, got a good ovation from the crowd. Nice to see that his time here is still appreciated.

That's cool.
I always liked Suzuki.
