Glad Eduardo Esocbar having success. Still one of my favorites
One of the best postgame interviews you're gonna see 🤣@escobardelapica with our @SteveGelbs on his walk-off, driving in all 5 Mets runs, and heading to Atlanta with a 1-game division lead pic.twitter.com/6KU4O44OHr
Perhaps he wants an asterisk attached to Bonds's record.
Well we know that a Yankee wouldn't ever use PEDs so we are safe this time. We'll just ignore the fact that he's been injured the past few years and is completely healthy and having a career year in the last year of his contract.
Just snagged the first foul ball of the game (and handed it to the only kid I could find)
I get why the we only see videos of people being ass-hats stealing a ball from a kid but it's my sense that most people these days are giving foul balls, HRs, etc to kids if they aren't with any of their own. I know every time I go to a game I look around and decide upfront who I'm giving a ball to if I somehow get one.
i guess this is the game log.
one funny thing about hamilton is he seems to know every player on the field at all times. no matter which base or which team, he's chatting and laughing it up with any player nearby like their old friends. suppose he's met pretty much everybody.
heh, i've seen multiple players lift his hand off bases and apply a tag.
Without looking at the scoreboard, not sure if he did so negatively or positively. Both could be applicable.
Without looking at the videos, I had a suspicion that a triple hit at Wallner probably had the same questionable outcome
Arraez gets hit #2.
Vicious body slam on Tua. Another head trauma, four days after what was certainty at least a "mild" concussion. Just awful.
NFL, Baby!
Thoughts and prayers, man.
I was too tired yesterday to comment, but we had a great time Tuesday at Los Gigantes game.
Joc provided a lot of excitement with a leadoff HR in the bottom of the first and, later, a "triple" on a ball that rickershayed off the first base bag. JD Davis was 3-4 with a HR. Logan Webb was really good after a shaky first. The Other Rogers pitched two scoreless innings. Doval came into the 9th with a 5-1 lead, loaded the bases, gave up a run, then shut the door.
Garlic fries were good, hot dog ok, spicy andouille better, lumpia the highlight.

Person with vested interest in the home run record being 61 thinks the home run record is 61.
As if the NL matters

baseball the right way.
Luis' back in the driver's seat again
Anyone else listen to the Piano Puzzler?
I thought the umpire had a pretty generous zone last night.
Billy Hamilton'd our way to a tie game again
