At this point, I’d be tempted to tell Kepler that — when he returns — he’s the 4th OF, that he’s going to play some center field, and that it will be good for him to show he still has that capability during this season.
Strongly implied: if you want to maximize your free agent market, it’s time to show you can still handle starts in center.
