Good for him. It's not a huge amount in baseball terms, but it's pretty good in human terms. Glad his persistence and work has paid off for him.
Hopefully the guy is smart with his money, because that should be enough to set him up for life (added to this year's $1.2m).
Depends -- who's his agent?
According to b-ref, PSI Sports Management.
They'll get theirs
Hottest game of the year for the Poissonnière’s little league team, and it came after a week off, which is far too long for kids at that stage. Even the best hitters on her team were struggling to get their timing back, which made for quick innings and a bit of whining about not getting to hit. We’ll see how they do Monday evening.
Twayn... my bride and I are going to the Twins game on Sunday. Delta level right behind home plate, first row on the aisle. The tickets I purchased were $30 cheaper than any other ticket in that general area. Stub Hub purchase. Let me know if you will be at the game and we may seek you out!
Other news: June 23rd we are having a patio party and Brady Perl is playing. Talented singer/songwriter.
Open house on October 9th the evening we win the big award for Business and Industry Apperciation Day. We have Michael Shynes and David Sutton playing. 2 very good artists.
Try to find a couple open seats in row 4 or 5. I hate that stupid bar. Right in your line of sight.
Sadly not working Sunday, I did Friday/Saturday this weekend.
4:17PM: Colon isn’t retiring, MLB Trade Rumors has learned from the pitcher’s agents at Wasserman.
Maybe he'll go team up with Leeeeewwwwww!
Pretty consistent 90s here now (we could use some rain) but our unusually low humidity is gone -- StL weather's way of slapping us across the back of the head and reminding us where we live.
My wife and daughters are down there for a grad party. I stayed home with the boy.
LAST weekend was beautiful, especially if you could pull up a chair in the shade. It's an indoor day today
Her family can't understand how we can handle the winter in MN but I think we spend more time outdoors than they do in St Louis.
Yup. I've always said I'd much prefer to bail on the StL summer long before I would need to escape the winter. I've also told people here that MN may not necessarily love their winter more, but they certainly don't whine about it as much.
Looks like the LH-facing wing-and-a-prayer lineup tonight
Runner daughter has been seriously disappointed with shortcomings of her Nest smart thermostat (which she essentially got free with a rebate from the power company), so I jumped on Ebay with the help of Gixen and turned around my Zoom class action money and snagged an Ecobee instead. Ours have done a fine job, and I know she'll at least not be having the problems she currently is having.
As Ecobee is a Generac company, I thank you (even if you got it on eBay).
Jorge! I hope Sonny gets more help than that tonight
It's all they needed last night. Sonny just needs to step up!
Arraez goes 5 for 5. Now batting .390
He's very productive.
Happy to announce that Baby Arráez #3 is coming in November. Can’t wait to meet our baby girl 💕❤️🙏🏽
Pitchers' solo, while we're at it
former Twins hero Rob Refsnyder getting paid

End of an era.
