While on layover in MSP, some chatty Boomer ladies spoiled today’s Wordle for everyone within earshot. The extremely fit Gen-X woman across from me exclaimed out loud “I was saving that for the flight!” I think she got the upper hand by telling the half-heartedly apologetic Boomer ladies, “Sometimes my dad spoils it by sending me a text without redacting the words.” I smirked. I recognize Gen-X shade when I hear it.
Lesser-named ones were Cron 2% (top left), Carew 5% (top right), and Denny McLain 5% (bottom left). How are so few people naming the last 30-game winner?!
I had the trinity of late 80's Atlanta/Toronto pitchers in my mind (Eichhorn, Clancy, and Jim Acker) and went for the one with the funkiest delivery. Glad you were on the same wavelength
