Got an alert this morning about suspicious activity on my credit card. Multiple purchases that I didn't make, including one scam purchase of "Pro Burn Keto Gummies", actually scheduled to be delivered to my house. WTAF?
Anyway, Citi app used to dispute all of the improper charges, 2FA authentication and purchase location tracking enabled. New cards on the way.
Of course, these are also our Costco cards, so I guess I won't be buying mass quantities of anything for a few days.
If you have your license, Costco will give you a temporary pass.
Good to know.
I should add, you have to get it from customer service though, not at the register.
The credit card fraud thing also got me off my ass to follow up on the free credit monitoring I am getting because of a major data breach in PBI Research Services/Berwyn Group, one of Calpers' third-party providers. My name, SSN and DOB all were exposed.
I tried to set up the Experian account with the Calpers-provided activation code and link. No soap. Called the support line and they were able to get me registered over the phone, after some fiddling. Always encouraging when the secure website of a major credit reporting agency doesn't work correctly.....
Well, you aren’t *really* their customer anyway, so it tracks that you get awful service.
Days like today make the pythag a little closer to reality.
Stopped in Sioux Falls for gas, wash windshield, rest stop, and suddenly 2-1 was 8-freakin'-1 🙁

I cannot recommend having the front wheel axle shear off causing the wheel to fall off, causing you to go over the handle bars and your front fork bending outward. It really sucks.
This is a bike. It's not supposed to look like that.

amazingly, this still worked better as a bike than the Twins do as a baseball team.

I'm ok, just a scrape on my leg. The worst part is my bike is not useable until I get a new fork and wheel.

We were in Fitchburg at the time of incident. The wife of one of the guys I was with picked me up at the Hop Haus, which I had to walk 1.5 miles back to. But yeah, man, if I was over more on the east side I definitely would have hit you up. Most of my issues the past few years have just been blown tubes, this is the first catastrophic mechanical failure I've ever had.
Sounds like there's a chance he remains as a center fielder but more likely slides to a corner eventually.
I just hope he has the health skill so many other guys in this system have lacked.
At 6’3”, 212# as an 18-yo, seems more like he’d wind up at corner OF size, but you never know.
I’m not a big prospect head, but if there is any amateur scouting report that really makes me sit up & take notice, “resembles a young Larry Walker” definitely meets that threshold.
