  1. Saturday, Glendale lost to the Salt River Rafters 7-2. Aaron Sabato was 1-for-4 with a double. Zach Veen pitched one inning, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out one.

Monday, Glendale defeated the Peoria Javelinas 6-4. Aaron Sabato was 0-for-4. Kala'i Rosario was 1-for-3 with a home run, his second. Ben Ethridge pitched one inning, allowing two runs on three hits.

Glendale is now 3-10 and in sixth (last) place.

  2. Game 3 is slated for Wednesday at Globe Life Field. Texas will send ace Max Scherzer to the mound for his first action of the postseason. Houston will start righty Cristian Javier.

This is the Rangers' 8th post-season game. How in the world has Max Scherzer not pitched yet?

    1. Injury means he's not their best starter and wasn't on the roster until the ALCS. He's only up to maybe 65 pitches so you don't want a three inning pitcher to start the series.

  3. I'm very popular on Twitter. I've told my wife that a lot of women like my tweets. She is very threatened that I might run off with Nancy79954.
