How often does someone send you a screenshot and you spend a good few seconds trying to go back by tapping the back button in the picture?

Glendale defeated the Peoria Javelinas 7-6 in ten innings. Kala'i Rosario was 3-for-5 with a home run (his third), two runs, and two RBIs. Malik Barrington struck out the side in a perfect inning.
Javelinas is a pretty sweet name for a minor league team.
I have a journal with a bunch of stories in forms from scribbled idea I can't really make out all the way to full-on finsihed ones. I decided to make a substack to try to motivate myself to get more of the former to be the latter.
I have a doc in my phone that I keep adding ideas or lines and such to when I think of them. No writing competitions coming up or plans to use them, but I keep adding them as they come up anyway.
Yeah, the ideas don't stop coming, so I figured I'll try to motivate myself to make the queue shorter
I've done something similar. I tried Substack but it didn't really give me what I wanted. A newsletter isn't what I want. I think I've pretty much landed on micro.blog to mix twitter like updates and ability to write longer form things if I want.
I just stand on a corner downtown and try to handout broadsheets of my latest screeds.
Are they poorly mimeographed?
I write out each one by hand dude! (best to get one from top of the pile, my handwriting suffers after a while)
Also I need to talk to you about Rugby World Cup. I watched New Zealand-Ireland and have like 73 questions.
I am mentally unprepared to visit that topic.
As me again in 2025.
If you watched SA-France I will talk about that all day. That was an amazing match
Iβm a noob. I have questions about basic scoring and ball movement. Iβll watch that match and get to you so itβs less painful.
And yes, I would recommend SA-FRA anyway to anyone with an inkling about wanting to get into rugby. I posted on bluesky on MOnday that "So far, this is what I'd chose if I needed to show someone who has never seen rugby a match to try to get them hooked"
All Blacks!
Do you have a link to your micro.blog? I'm on there as bjhess.
(I'm like 95% sure I will start building a blogging+ software at the end of the month via my work at Good Enough. Assuming I get something stood up in alpha, I'll be comin' a callin' here for any interested parties to give it a go.)
Consider this me signing up for pre-accesss

Ohh? Hmm. Sounds interesting.
Nice! Subbed via RSS.
Aw, thanks!
Looks like if Arizona loses, dw and I tie for the predictions win, such as it is. If Arizona pulls it out, then dw stands alone.
I updated the spreadsheet and davidwatts wins. He can either win with six points if the Rangers win or ten points if he gets it right on Houston winning.
Ah, you're totally right. Damn, I'll just take my silver and go home...

The first post is up, and a few of you may remember it.

What are you doing on Sunday?

If Houston wins, you get a silver medal. If not, Philo gets second with five points and you end in a three-way tie with free and myself.
I didn't think I had a rooting interest, but... LET'S GO TEXAS!
I'll be in Vegas next week. Can I get an early payout of my 3rd place winnings to take there. Obviously I'll be hitting the sports books.
Eddie Rosario in the running for a Gold Glove??
Strange times indeed.
I mean, it's a Fielding Grammy, not a Throwing Grammy. π
