I just had a flash of a dream I must have had last night. The was a very specific and driven reason that I needed to join TikTok because (?). I just remember there was some sort of grand plan involved. Huh.

It's been a while since we checked in on our winter league teams--it's been a busy week.
Monday, Estrellas defeated Licey 5-4. Rodolfo Duran was 2-for-4. Tyler Zuber (3-1) got the win, pitching a perfect inning and striking out one. Neftali Feliz got the save (5), giving up one hit and striking out two in a scoreless inning.
Tuesday, Estrellas lost to Escogido 4-2. Miguel Sano was 0-for-4. Eguy Rosario led the team in batting, going 2-for-3. Jhonkensy Noel was 2-for-4 with a home run. The loss went to Brandon Leibrandt )0-1), who allowed three runs on four hits and a walk in a third of an inning.
Wednesday, Estrellas lost to Escogido 12-1. Miguel Sano was 0-for-3. Jonathan Arauz was 2-for-3. Aaron Leasher (1-2) took the loss, allowing six unearned runs on three hits and a walk and striking out one in a third of an inning.
Yesterday, Estrellas lost to Licey 11-6. Rodolfo Duran was 2-for-3 with a home run. Rainer Nunez and Jonathan Arauz were each 2-for-4. Tyler Zuber (3-2) took the loss, walking all three men he faced, who all came around to score.
Estrellas is 14-13, in third place, 2.5 games behind the Gigantes.
Last Sunday, Caribes lost to the Leones 5-4. Willians Astudillo was 0-for-4. Herlis Rodriguez was 2-for-3. Luis Amaya (0-1) was the losing pitcher, giving up one run on one hit and two walks in 1.1 innings.
Tuesday, Caribes lost to LaGuaira 9-6. Willians Astudillo was 1-for-3 with a double. Luis Sardinas was 2-for-5 with two doubles. Balbino Fuenmayor was 2-for-5 with a home run. Jose Azocar was 2-for-5. Edgar Escobar took the loss, pitching four innings and giving up three runs on four hits and five walks and striking out two.
Wednesday, Caribes lost to LaGuaira 8-4. Willians Astudillo was 2-for-4 with a home run. Victor Reyes was 4-for-4 with a double. Ramon Cabrera was 2-for-3. Andres Sotillet (0-1). took the loss, allowing two runs on one hit and one walk in two-thirds of an inning.
Thursday, Caribes lost to Lara 6-0. Willians Astudillo was 0-for-4. Victor Reyes was 2-for-3. Balbino Fuenmayor was 2-for-4 with a double. Yorvin Pantoja was the losing pitcher, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks in three innings.
Friday, Caribes lost to Lara 10-0. Willians Astudillo was 0-for-2. Harold Arauz took the loss, giving up three runs on seven hits and two walks and striking out one in 4.1 innings.
Caribes is 9-19, in eighth (last) place, ten games behind Lara.
