We don't have Thanksgiving leftovers per se, but there's a lot of stuff in the fridge we should be using. How is everyone managing with their full fridge if they have one?

lol, Naz Reid
First public ballot leaves off Joe Mauer.
Maxed out his ten votes at least.
David Wright but not Mauer? Good lord.
Its from a Mets reporter, so...
He used all ten votes. Blame the Hall for refusing to update its process despite the BBWAA wanting to do better.
I’d be happy to blame the BBWAA, but he used three of those votes on MannyBManny, A-Rod, and Beltrán. Penalizing a player like Mauer to keep those three on the ballot seems pretty unfair even if we agree the limit is silly.
As long as Bud Selig is in the HOF, then A-Rod, Manny, and Beltran are all good picks.
In CF, Beltran, Andruw Jones, and Kenny Lofton should all be in and the BBWAA generally has an insane bar for the defensively important positions.
Manny has a JAWS score equal to the HOF average in LF, which is an incredible accomplishment.
On the other hand, David Wright should not be considered a serious candidate, and Mauer is the best catcher not in the HOF, and would raise the average JAWS score for HOF catchers, which is ridiculous because the bar for HOF catchers is already too high relative to other positions.
Co-signing on pretty much everything you said, ubes.
2nd one looks much better.
The SCSU Huskies clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit to beat the #14 Michigan Wolverines in St. Cloud last night, with Kyler Kupka knocking in the tying goal with just seven seconds left in regulation. It was his second goal on the night, he scored the Huskie's first goal of the series in the second period on a shorthanded breakaway. After a scoreless 3-on-3 overtime period, he then won the shootout (2-1) with a little delay shot he pushed between the goalie's skates. Michigan won Friday night's game 2-0 with a couple of third-period goals, but that contest could have easily gone the other way, some brilliant goaltending and defense by Michigan frustrated the Huskies who outshot the Wolverines all night. So despite losing one and technically tying the other, this was a really evenly matched series and I expect St. Cloud to maintain its #17 ranking and maybe even move up a spot or two this week.
Worth noting, the Huskies had 11 underclassmen skating this weekend and Michigan was without its top scorer.
Maeda heads to Detroit.
Lots of folks around here make a turkey gumbo this weekend. I made a Popeyes gumbo. It. Was. Fantastic. Come at me, bruh.
only if you have leftovers
