The only thing I like about the Wild's colors is I can dress the kids in Wild clothes when they have Christmas color clothes theme days at school during the holidays.

Caribes did not play Monday.
La Tortuga is picking it up.
When it comes to themed clothing days for kids, I'm a conscientious objector. If the kids are independently motivated to do it I won't stand in their way, but I'm not keeping track of it.
One can only acquire and retain so much, and getting the kids to be engaged in their own lives is the bigger, MUCH more important win after about 2nd grade.
The middle child keeps track and has opted out of all this "spirit" stuff. Does make it convenient in figuring out his clothing choices but I still need to keep track for the kindergartener. The oldest just forgets but also mostly doesn't care.
"We've got Spirit, Yes we do/We've got Spirit, how 'bout you?!"
I can give you some mxrl.
Our 12 year old remembers/cares sometimes, but the 9 year old often intentionally does the opposite. Like when they had twin day where they were supposed to dress like a classmate, he intentionally wore a tie dye shirt, since it is one of a kind and could not match anyone.
Man, how great was that basketball game last night.
I probably should have watched, but I used a relaxation aid and didn't have the motivation to turn the tv on. Glad they won, though!
It's blue.
I think the stripes would have been a little more dynamic, but I don't have many complaints.
I'll complain that there's no double headed loon.
And that star suh-hucks.
It’s literally the same shape of the star in the Capitol rotunda.
It works well enough for me. All the designs that didn't have that northward point on the star, though - I would have struggled to orient myself on that.... literal/figurative, there...
From something/somewhere: In some Pagan traditions, the 8-pointed star is associated with the goddess Venus, who was worshipped as a symbol of fertility and love. The star can be seen as a representation of the eight phases of Venus, which include her appearances as the morning and evening star.
That goes without saying.
What country is this for again?
Minnistan.
I can handle it if I lean into the simplicity of it. Blue on blue feels like it misses an opportunity for dynamism, but in the end…I’d wear it.
And I think it looks great hung vertically.
Y'know...there's a finite mix of colors and shapes in this world. A person might be surprised how many countries have blue skies and green trees...
Too true, but that explanation doesn't appease the conspiracy trolls.
Minnistan's coat of arms should have a cream-can instead of Puntland's wooden Dhiil. And a white-tail and a Holstein.
It should have been North Stars colors with the North Star emblem and the motto "F U Norm Green!"
Countdown to "Somalia flag" claptrap in 3, 2, ...
Galmudug state flag!
Which do you prefer, doc?
They're both John Deere colors, so no decision necessary the way I see it.
Second really leans into the Pac-Man vibe.
Yellow star.
But where is the State Motto?
Speaking of Green motto-bilia, there's also: "It's the Sheriff!" and "They Are Who We Thought They Were".
Some of you may appreciate this.
True, but the Olympic hopefuls train at my curling club and they are VERY fit.
That seems about right.
Represent!
We at least didn't get annihilated, merely could not hang on to win.
Id really like to rejoin a curling club, but this gap here makes that a little tricky.
Chaska is technically closest, beats Willmar by about 15 minutes. But even then I don't have space in my schedule for 2+ hours in the car just to get to/from the sheets.
Who do we know that could start one in wright county?
No, no nononono
I've helped run rugby clubs. I'm not starting a curling club from scratch
One of my lottery dreams is still a brewpub/curling club.
Throw in a couple outdoor pickle ball courts, too.
Sure. Next to the volleyball courts.
No, next to the bocce ball courts.
(Bocce ball-pickleball-curling club is literally out set up, with a half pipe thrown in for good measure)

I see that Amazon Prime could be in play for regional MLB broadcasts.
Seems like its been a hot minute with some beer/alcohol talk
Has anyone samples this season's offering of Schells Snowstorm or the Cave Aged Barrel Aged?
The CABA is 10.0% but man it is super smooth. Got vanilla and caramel notes to it
Oh no, not the Celtics losing and the Wolves being #1 in the league.
