We've made the trip up and down I-90 so many times that it's a rarity to stop by a gas station that we've never been to before. Sometimes I'll think we're at a new one, then I'll walk inside and be like, oh yeah, we've been here before.

Dairon Blanco's RBI double in the tenth gave Estrellas a 2-1 victory over Escogido. Judging from the fact that the averages in the box score have all reset, I'm assuming this is a playoff game of some sort. Miguel Sano was 0-for-4. Blanco was 4-for-5 with a home run a double, and two RBIs. Robinson Cano was 2-for-4. Vidal Brujan was 2-for-5. Starter Jorge Martinez pitched four innings, giving up one run on four hits and a walk and striking out two. Neftali Feliz struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit, to get the win. Ronel Blanco pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one, to get the save.
Caribes played a doubleheader against Aragua. They lost the first one 9-3 as Aragua scored eight runs in the seventh. Tomas Telis was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Eduardo Diaz was 2-for-3 with a double. Luis Sardinas was 2-for-4. Starter Edgar Escobar pitched five innings, giving up one run on two hits and a walk and striking out three. Andres Sotillet (2-2) took the loss, allowing five runs (four earned) on two hits and two walks and striking out one in a third of an inning.
Caribes also dropped the second game, losing 2-0. Willians Astudillo was 1-for-3. Omar Alfonzo was 2-for-3. Liarvis Breto (1-2) took the loss, giving up two runs on four hits and striking out one.
Every time I read "Tomas Telis" I have Vaughan Williams music going through my head. (that's not a bad thing)
