I’ve been watching score distribution and it seems like maybe the tail is getting heavier this week. I wonder if the number of players is increasing. I’m still dubious that 33% got this one perfect, though.

The distributions are curious. I haven’t been paying attention to the Ns to see if the players have gone up, but I sort of assume there’s a pretty significant niche audience effect? But you’re right, it’s odd.
One thing I appreciate about travle is the practice feature. I’ve known for most of my life that my handle on sub-Saharan African geography is poor. The practice feature has finally pushed me to confront that deficiency. I’m not where I need or ought to be, but it’s getting better, and working on it is actually fun.
Worldle + Globle did this for me - putting countries in a solid geographical context, that is. Took a couple years, but pretty happy about how the knowledge has developed. Travle is a fun chance to put it into practice and context.
That definitely seemed too obvious. Perhaps I'm psyching myself out, but I've been starting to pay a lot more attention in how the words are initially arranged. I feel like there are some clues in there.
I believe the order is random. I try to notice any themes that have only three "obvious" answers. Often that means those words are instead separate themes.
Here the flower was four obvious ones but it also overlapped with the eye theme that I originally thought would be related to CAMERA. Once I noticed blue theme it all fell into place.
I don't think the order is random. I'll do Connections on my computer at work (shh), but I need to copy my results into the app to send to the group chat. It shows up the same.
(I think the editor is genius for the amount of three word dead ends they're able to fit in under the actual connections).
