I know some people wear them all the time. Honestly, I never use 'em.

      1. Someone needs to visit a historical society and see if there were any curses placed during the early days of the state.

      1. More like more Luka Garza. I would imagine they sign him for the rest of the season?

  1. As a glasses wearer, sunglasses were something I usually avoided. Clip-ons are awkward and you're limited in shape. I opted to go with prescription sunglasses when I changed my frames and it was worth it. I use them all the time when driving and will usually dig them out of the car when outside enough in the summer.

    1. Prescription sunglasses for me, too. I use them as much or more in winter as in summer because of the low sun and bright snow reflection. I notice that my eye floater is much more noticeable in bright light, too, so the shades help with that quite a bit. I got a new pair last fall with gradient lenses but I'm not sure I like them, the shifting brightness when I move my eyes up and down feels weird to me. I can live with it, but don't think I'll go that route next time.

    2. Places like Walmart have multiple shape clip-ons available and can match different glasses designs; only time I really use them is in the car, although I'll bring them along on vacations as well. I already have everyday and work glasses (I am NOT getting bifocals), I didn't want yet another set.

    3. Yes to prescription sunglasses. They improved my life so much.

Which reminds, me, time to order new ones since my prescription recently changed.

      1. And... done. Warby Parker and Zenni remembering my prescription and past orders makes this stuff so easy.

      2. I have lost two pairs of prescription sunglasses which is pretty spendy. Last time I went to get some, I tried on ten pairs and found only one that felt comfortable. The cost was $1,100. I passed. Maybe I'll get something this year.

        1. Warby Parker will send you out 5 different ones to try, and you can find what feels good. I've ordered from them in the past. I've also, based on the ones I tried from them, found cheaper ones on Zenni that were similar. The pair I just ordered from Zenni, with a few extra add-ons, totaled $150, which isn't cheap cheap, but it's not too bad for something I wear all the time.

        2. Also, true story, because I had on my prescription sunglasses I once lost a pair of my actual glasses... that was not fun.

          1. one of those pairs is somewhere in Wisconsin Dells, and the other is at the bottom of the Pacific

  2. As someone who puts a lot of miles in on bike, sunglasses are definitely a big part of my life. I also don't wear corrective glasses, so I don't have any of then above noted issues.

    1. I only wear cheaters. I picked up some "bifocalx sunglasses at Costco: regular on top, cheater on the bottom.

    1. I was following on my phone. Was he making really smart shots at the end or did hero ball work for him this time?
