  1. Every now and then I'll pop over to the Trade Rumors site to see if I missed anything going on with the Twins. The last update they were tagged in is from March 5th.

      1. 1:39pm: There’s concern that DeSclafani could require season-ending surgery, president of baseball operations Derek Falvey tells Nightengale and others.

        Sign Snell, you tightwads.

        1. I didn't have a lot of hopes for DeSclafani in the first place, so I don't see his loss as all that significant. I'd rather have Louie Varland in the rotation anyway.

          1. Similar. I got the feeling DeSclafani existed to allow (force?) Varland to stretch out and get ready in AAA.

  2. Just got back from a quick 5 day trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. First all-inclusive trip I have ever experienced. My wife and I were invited to join a group of contest winners by a local food distributor. First time flying out of country for me. Not a big fan of waiting to pass through customs, but otherwise it was a fun trip. Mostly stayed on resort property, but the few times we ventured out, I was offered weed and coke everywhere I turned. Luckily the nerve pain was darn near non-existent for most of the trip. Day 5 and today it is back, but not unbearable anymore. I stopped taking meds, other than Aleve, and I am just trying to power through it.

    1. All-inclusive is a fun way to go every now and then. Glad you enjoyed it. We tend to favor Secrets and Dreams resorts (because smaller) but there are a lot of good ones.

  3. Got to meet Twayn this afternoon, along with his sweet pup and adorable, rambunctious foster pup.

Thanks for the beer and the cupcake, Twayn. I hope your daughter enjoys the camera stuff. Let's do this again, sometime.

    1. Aye, whenever you're in town. I wish we'd had more time to drink beer and talk, but it was nice to finally meet you.

      1. Ha!

I texted a link to that dunk to a couple of friends last night and that was my caption.
