Hopefully Rick is done being sick. I don't feel like taking more time off even though I still have a giant pile of vacation time to use. A good problem, I suppose.

Runner daughter told us the morning DJs asked for songs with whistling in them. First two off the top of my head:
One of the others she mentioned I would also have added with a little more thought
Those were mentioned on air, I was told.
so, the other song I would have gotten to was, of course, ...
ha!
People are trying to hard.
The first one that always pops into my head is:
Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John
Well that's going to be stuck in my head all day now.
Yup. Already playing on a loop...
Damn it. I'm at trivia night and they're playing this between answers.
Looks like Timberwolves magic number to secure at least the 4th seed in Western Conference is 1. For the 3rd seed it's 3. Figuring out who will be 1, 2, and 3 between Wolves, Nuggets, and Thunder will probably come down to the last game or two.
And if I'm not mistaken the Wolves hold the tiebreaker over both teams?
I maintain, again, that it will not actually matter. They'll find a way to be Wolvesian. I don't say this to rain on anyone's parade - I really do hope the best for them. But MN Sports Fatalism has me firmly in grasp right now...
The Wolves have the tie breaker over both teams, but I think OKC has the tie breaker if there is a three way tie. At least for right now.
I have created an instagram account to document my fitness activities.

godspeed.
Nice - also mentioned on air.
Oh, btw pb - where are you going to watch the eclipse? We're looking at Benton, IL - not too big, not too small, ~2 hr drive.
We're headed to my grandma's in southern Indiana on Friday.
My wife has to be in the office tuesday morning, so that's gonna be a loooooooonnnng night getting home
We're going to Carbondale. Imma have 4 more seconds of totality.
ground zero?! you're crazy, if I may say so. tra-ff-ic
yeah, that's likely, but the draw to see an eclipse in the exact same place i saw one seven years prior is too great.
That's the only excuse we would allow.
So is there currently an option for watching the Twins? Bally Sports doesn't actually have them unless you also have a cable provider of some sort?
If you're in market, you need to have cable to watch them.
I didn't care what management says, this was a choice made by the team.
Alright, that's what I thought. Stupid owners.
Won't Very Important Person box work?
Fubo.
We have Fubo streaming on Comcast Internet (no cable) and we get Bally Sports North so Twins, Wolves, and Wild are all available.
Minimum Fubo package? If it's as bad as cable, that's still not really an option I'd accept.
The price is competitive with YTTV and others. But MLB needs a complete overhaul of its distribution, the current model doesn't serve most fans or most teams very well.
I know its Souhan, but the audacity of the frickin Star Tribune to publish an article like this is stupifying.
Souhan has gotten a lot better lately but that article was basically mailed in. Seemed like he just did an
AI writing query.
Good one. Someone mentioned Rockin' Robin as well.
I should have read to the end before commenting.
I have many mixed thoughts about father John, but the whistle hook on this one is an earworm.
kinda like being rick roll'd
