We had a minor flooding issue with all the rain lately so I've had to run some fans in the basement the past couple days. They're making the new Minnesota flag I bought (hanging portrait style on the wall) flicker and sway in the breeze.

I'll say it again, it wasn't my first choice, but it rocks compared to the old flag. Gonna pick one up next time I'm up nort'
Flags For Good has them for sale if you want to just order one
i think i liked it better with the stripes, but the simplicity is growing on me.
Same.
Old friend's brother?
Correct.
Shane Bieber. Dang
And Spencer Strider might follow.
Enjoyed some League One action today taking in the Reading-Lincoln City match. The skill seemed just a step below MLS, by it was much more physical. Honest Abe got to hear more people yelling his name than ever before (and quite a few phrases and words that were likely new to him and hopefully will be quickly forgotten).
All he does is triple. Alex Triplloff
I see the Twins' batters are in their usual fine form today.
re: Atteberry's conversation about Cucamonga--according to the internet, Bugs Bunny only made a few references to it. It was made more famous by Mel Blanc in his appearances on the Jack Benny program.
My dad always quoted the station calls from Jack Benny
We live in Rancho Cucamonga, so I’m always find it amusing when we pop up.
We once had to put in an address at a store in Connecticut, and the woman at the register was shocked it was a real place, thinking the writers made it up for Next Friday.
I know that as where the guys in Workaholics live
That's the other one we get every once in a while. The movie Flaming Hot was set here, too, since the main guy worked at the Frito Lay plant in town.
The Twins doubled their hit total!
In seven games, the Twins have struck out seventy-two times.
I’m so old I remember when the Twins dropping Joey Gallo and Michael Taylor was going to solve their strikeout problem.
It's not that the Twins aren't hitting with men in scoring position. It's that their not hitting, period. The team slash line is .191/.308/.300. Their batting average and slugging average are both worse than Oakland.

Missed the game, but it seems the Twins have busted out their bats with four asses this year.
Shit for
brainsbats. Editing, FTW.3H, 11 LOB.
You give the Twins too much credit. It was actually two hits.
D'oh!
Not a lot of defense at either end so far.
SloMo hammer dunk!
