They couldn't beat the good teams, so we'll see if they can beat a mediocre team. It's not looking good so far. Go Twins!

Nationals with two ex-Twins in the lineup: Eddie Rosario and Joey Gallo. Both are batting below .200. On the bench they have ex-Twin ildemaro Vargas, who's batting .304.
*sigh*
I don't know. 3-1 seems like an insurmountable lead.
Is Dazzle having health problems, or has he just cut back on his schedule this much? It seems like a long time since I've heard him do a game.
nice to see we can mount a rally baserunner
I'm not sure the Twins could be the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels right now.
"beat", not "be".
How long are we planning to leave Pablo out there in a lost cause game?
"The relentless Nationals offense."
Yes, the Twins have faced some good pitchers, but your offense can't just roll over every time you face a good pitcher.
CORREA! Maybe that will start something.
Maybe not.
This is an embarrassing display of "baseball" by the Twins.
I'd forgotten Derek Law was with the Twins, too.
Well, as the old country song says, I've enjoyed as much of this as I can stand. Good night, everybody.
Anyone else remember (I forget what year it was) when the Twins had a 10-game winning streak and a 10-game losing streak in the same season? This feels like that team.
Looks like that was 1985. They won ten straight from April 21-May1 and lost ten straight from May 21-June 1. They also lost nine straight from April 11-April 20, just before going on their ten-game winning streak.
They finished 77-85 that year, in fourth place in the AL West. Billy Gardner started the season as the manager, but was replaced on or about June 21 by Ray Miller.
