Austin Martin's RBI single in the seventh broke a 2-2 tie.

Opposition standout:  Jack Cushing pitched five shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out four.

CEDAR RAPIDS KERNELS 15, LANSING LUGNUTS 7 IN LANSING

Cedar Rapids scored seven in the third to take a 7-3 lead.  Lansing cut it to 7-6, but the Kernels got three more in the fifth.

Multi-hit games:  Ricardo Olivar was 4-for-6 with a home run, three runs, and two RBIs.  Rubel Cespedes was 3-for-5 with two RBIs.  Jay Harry was 3-for-6 with two runs and two RBIs.  Dalton Shuffield was 2-for-2 with a home run and two runs.  Rayne Doncon was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.  Kevin Maitan was 2-for-6 with two runs.

DSL TWINS 11, DSL PHILLIES WHITE 2 AT PHILLIES WHITE (7 INNINGS)

The Twins scored seven in the second and four in the fifth.  The Phillies White made four errors and issued eight walks.  The Twins did not have an extra-base hit.
