  1. Fried cheese curd tacos ….. okay, so I had them last year. I wasn’t prepared for the cheese curd to be the tortilla. It was excessive. I still think about it.

  2. Question for the Nation’s cyclists:

The Poissonnière is ready for a 24” bike, and we’re trying to decide on an upgrade that can grow with her until she’s ready for an adult size model. She’s not the most confident rider yet, which leads me away from many 24” models with 7+ speeds toward something in the 3-speed range. Belt drive would be ideal (it’s what she has now), but not a dealbreaker.

Am I crazy to be thinking a folding bike might actually better fit that feature set? Many of them seem to be extremely adjustable for riders of diverse stature. My guess is the length of the top tube would be the limiting factor for younger riders. Typical use would be neighborhood riding, several mile round-trip bike path rides for ice cream outings, etc.
