Woke up to my dad sending me photos from the hall this morning. Looking forward to hearing about the actual induction experience.
Lots of Twins on that stage today.
LOL, loud boos for Manfred.
Good lord, Rob. Have any kind of enthusiasm for reading the guy’s plaque. This is the biggest day of his career.
Didn't mind the tone as much, but at least maybe read it through once beforehand so you don't stumble over some of the text
todays game is on Roku. sweet!
Willie Castro is channel his inner Craig Biggio . 15 HBP
I’m glad that the major news story for today is that Joe Mauer is the 7th twin inducted….
Well Nvrmind.
BUXTON!!
Lots of love for the Twins HOF fame group photo. Top comment repeated many times is that they're all there but missing that loveable #34. Second top comment (also repeated many times) is WHAT ABOUT HARMON?!?
wtf is that!?
I recognize the Twins hat...
Jackson Chourio is a pest
RISP has also been a pest
0-22 PH 0-23
yeah the Margot as a PH thing needs to end
I vote Margot be dfa'ed when Lewis comes back.
TWO BUX
Pretty great day in Cooperstown, you guys.
*envy*
Pics or it didn't happen!
The cheap seats are pretty far out. Back lite cell phone camera didn't really capture the experience. Well worth the trip though.
Nearly 80,000 for the two games against the Brewers. See Manfred, that's why you schedule weekend games agains rivals in the middle of the summer.
I had section 140 today, the one with the drink rails and high chairs, full to them brim with two groups from Wisconsin. 54 of them were from New Richmond, there's a sports bar there where people gather to watch Brewers games and they sponsored the trip. The other group was from Amery. An older crowd mostly, they were great. They made fun of the rain delay, all had mad respect for Joe Mauer, and they made me their official photographer. Even with the loss, it was a good day at the ballpark after a long All-Star break. Yesterday's crowd was the biggest ever for ballgame at Target Field, I think the number was 41,696. Today they were saying around 39,000.
If they were well behaved, good on them. Hate to see the home team lose, but glad someone got some enjoyment. Now please fix what's broken before the Cards series there.
