Going back is always worse than coming here. I’ll arrive two hours before I left.

Heading to the game tonight with 3 of the kids. Free tickets won at the local town ball team's Dairy Night. Sitting in the left field HR porch area - I've never sat there at Target Field before. Looking forward to watching them get back on the winning track!
I hope it goes to extras so you get some free baseball to go on top of your free baseball
Definitely diminishing returns on the extras with 3 kids at a weeknight game.
Yeah... I'm hoping for a tidy 2 hour game with a few Twins HRs into the left field seats that we get a shot at... But I'll take the 2 hour game.
I was always under the mistaken belief that Zonians had dual Panamanian/US citizenship, but apparently that's only true if at least one of the parents is a US citizen and the child is born between 1904 and 1979. Before 1979 he may have held non‑citizen U.S. nationality by virtue of his birth in the Canal Zone, but that would have run out when ownership of the zone passed completely to Panama.
Ouch:
Strange reference to Bob Gibson since he played his entire career in the NL and Carew in the AL. Or was this just a lazy or uninformed reporter thinking he was making some clever reference?
It took about 30 seconds to find that Carew himself rates Nolan Ryan as the best pitcher he's ever faced. Amateurs.
Looking for advice re: parking at Target Field. In the past I've just reserved a spot in Lot A with SpotHero. Currently SpotHero says there aren't any available spots in Lots A, B, or C.
Parkwhiz says Lot A has spots. Should I just book with Parkwhiz instead of the "official partner" spothero? Should I just assume there'll be an open spot available in Lot A when I get up there? Ease of access to 395 is key for me.
Unless there's a competing event at Target Center, Ramp A has plenty of room. Your goal will be to get as close to the skyway connecting the ramp to the ballpark as you can. I know that one of the exits takes you right to 395 but I don't recall which one, either the north or west exit, I think. Event cost is $20. Take your ticket with you and pay at the machine after the game for a faster exit.
The guy who caught the Witt Jr. HR is wearing a Witt Jr. jersey, and is 3 rows in front of me. Great catch.
Don't let it happen again.
Which side of him are you? Maroon shirt?
Yes. We hadn't moved all the way in yet... now right behind him.
Better find yourself an agent
Two out runs are sexy
You'll never be a closer with a name like Blewett.
Yeah, I was thinking that's one of the worst pitcher names next to Balfour.
There's a reddit on unfortunate pitcher names. Contenders include Balfour, Roy Hitt, Taijuan Walker, Homer Bailey and Eric Plunk.

Lovely article on Rod Carew in The Athletic this morning: Twins great Rod Carew, age 78, becomes a U.S. citizen at last: “I love this country”
He remained a Panamanian this whole time?
To Tony O’s utter disbelief.
"Go, Blaze!" 👍

Aaron Bummer should be on that list.
