August 31, 2024: Pitch A Tent

One thought we had for the weekend was to go camping, but since the weather still looks nice next week, I pushed it off until then since it's probably going to be a little crowded this weekend.

  1. Berrios and Zebby on the hill tonight. Hoping we can gain a game or two on the Guardians and Royals this weekend. I'm usually ecstatic when Cleveland beats Pittsburgh in anything, so this is a rare exception for me.

      1. I'm working again, rare back to back games for me. Last night I had two main sections just past the third base dugout full of Toronto fans. Nice folks, attentive and polite and they know their baseball.

  2. I meant to mention that my neighbors were impressed with Target Field during the Cardinals series, putting it definitely in their top five.* We got to see Minnie and Paul shake hands more than once, and two Duran entrances (one during the day, which failed). If I had been on my own I would have stayed for Friday night fireworks, and arrived early for the Correa jersey uni, ... oh well.

    * for reference, #1 is PNC Park in Pittsburgh

    1. I'll take that consolation prize, thank you. Even a 15-run ass kicking still only counts as one loss.

      1. It was 4-0 by the time I took my seat. The two home runs were hit in the time it took me to get from Town ball Tavern to my seat.

        Great weather!
