I like KAT, like, a lot. He's an amazing player. I hear there's a trade happening. I don't know the specifics yet (posting Friday night), so I will hold my judgement. Still, I think the team is better with him than without him.
What do you all think?
Dumb. Wolves gonna Wolves, I guess.
I just realized KAT will be reunited with Thibs. Lucky him...
Cat got his tongue
There a bunch of "basketball guys" who like the trade. We'll see where this goes. Brit Robson promised a full analysis of the trade in his Monday MinnPost column.
I read one take that convincingly argued that it's all the money.
PohladsTaylor being cheap again. From where I sit, there's no other way to look at it. Randle and Vicenzo are not remotely in KATs league. The only reason the Wolves didn't get past Dallas is because they just didn't have anything left in the tank after Denver, so running it back is, in my most humble opinion, criminal. Fish rots from the head and Taylor's rotting corpse is still all over this stupid franchise.
I'm not sold on the trade, but, assuming Randle is healthy, this makes the rotation deeper. Randle is very capable of being a 1b guy. DiVincenzo is coming off a career year scoring and is a solid, 3-and-D rotation guy who can handle the ball.
KAT really needed someone to play pick-and-roll/pick-and-pop with. I just don't think Ant is that guy.
My question is whether Randle is mature enough to accept being the second guy. That, plus he's turning 30.
The way I see it, this trade is the only way you can keep Naz after next season.
Also a good point.
Today is the first day I would call "autumn" in ... forever.
Oh! I hadn't seen that the Twins players were sent home already
This is horrible baseball. Can't pitch, can't hit, can't field, and especially can't run the bases.
I haven't been in the "Fire Rocco" camp but I don't see any way they keep him now. It's gotten embarrassing.
Even a Player's Coach can't abide phoning it in this badly. We should thank God this last series wasn't against the White Sox.
Heading into Sunday's games Shohei Ohtani has a real shot at winning the Triple Crown. He has been in an absolute heater going something like 25 of his last 35
