I was getting an oil change and the young man who took my key had to come back and ask his manager to pull my car into the bay since it’s a manual.

Every day I miss my manual. It had so much life left in it...
It took me a while to grow out of it. After 40+ years of owning manual cars (and years of equipment on the farm before that), it was wearing off. Spending the majority of my 5½ years on Hwy 405 probably didn't help. In any case, my hips thanked me in the long run.
well, basically all of my driving is country roads so the manual definitely made it more interesting. There is also the added bummer that I did not get rid of that car by choice.
One can't fault nostalgia...
