It's funny during the Judge error and the snafu at first base, I looked down before the play was completed, thinking it was an easy out, only to pop my head back up to see that the inning hadn't ended. Wait What? (remember I don't watch the games with the TV volume on).
I imagine being in a constant state of rehab gets old after awhile. I had rotator cuff surgery in 1997. Took a while to get back on the softball field. Since then, I have torn the left RT and re-tore the right RT. I would need to fix both in order to play again. I don't think it's going to happen. Grant it, he is leaving potential million$ on the table compared to me, but still... Kirilloff has had a rough go. I wish him the best.
So my office is the kind of place where people are welcome to dress up for Halloween if they'd like. I've dressed up off and on, and this year I suddenly realized I had nearly everything I needed for an easy costume. Red beret, white and navy striped shirt, and a baguette from the grocery store across the street . . . voilà I'm French! (And I have something for lunch!)
I love it that a team of superstars lost because they couldn't make basic, fundamental baseball plays.
Some of their biggest stars too! Aaron Judge, Gerrit Cole....

This gives me a great sense of satisfaction as well. And blowing a big lead with that sloppy play? Bravissimo.
Well this is a shock.
Kirilloff posted more on his Instagram and it seems the injuries piled up and made baseball no longer fun.
Oof. That's rough.
Apparently Gleeman has the same thing.

WOAH. Too bad all those injuries kept on happening. Wish him the best.
That's rough for Kirilloff mainly, but it also sucks for the team.
.248/.309/.412, 99 OPS+, first career 884 PA
.248/.313/.461, 100 OPS+, first career 970 PA
One of those lines is Kirilloff and one of those lines is Justin Morneau.
Even though it was a 5 game series, it was fun and the whole MLB postseason was a load a fun.
Lets do it next year, this time with the local 9 in the tourney

Twins decline option on Margot.
[shocked face]
Margot for 30
Farmer too.
I'm shocked! Shocked to find that common sense is going on in here!
