Okay, so I always grew up with "kitty corner", so whenever I hear "katty corner", it's always a bit disorientating. Is that a super local MN thing like "gray duck"?

It believe it's the other way around. I think katty corner is the outlier.
Interesting. IIRC, some of MrsS's family (Central Illinois) say "katty corner."
Every place I've lived in it's been kitty corner.
Yesterday I was reading some NHL power rankings, and when I got to the MN Wild entry, the writer made a bold statement that Kaprizov has surpassed Kucherov (Tampa) as the best winger in the league. Lots of push back in the comment section. Of course, the Wild played the Lightning last night and I felt like Kucherov was probably going to go off on us. Turns out Kaprizov was the best player on the ice. The Wild are looking pretty good right now.
Kathy Corner is definitely not a Minnesota thing.
Anatomy of a schadenfreude.
OMG. This is so much better knowing it wasn't just organic happenstance but the result of scouting and analysis and strategy. Huzzah for the Dodgers.
The Goofs beat another ranked team.
