I was explaining this snack to a foreign co-worker and they were slightly aghast. On the surface, I suppose it does sound like a strange mix of ingredients.

I had to Google this. Never heard of it before, although sounds like there are several options. I'll just stick with PB though, thanks.
So I took some nyquil last night and fell asleep not long after half time of the Wolves game, so I missed The Play. I watched it this morning, though, and man, this team is both annoying to watch and cooked in general. Maybe don't trade your incredibly talented, selfless, and all around good guy PF for whatever the hell they're putting on the floor now.
TLDR: Go Wild.
That was one of the biggest temper tantrums I've seen. Me before team.
I don't blame him at all. They traded away a guy that it appears Gobert worked really well with and got along really well with for a guy that doesn't give a crap on defense and dribbles the air out of the ball after looking right at Gobert in prime dunking position. All I can really say for certain is that I very much dislike watching Randle and am officially checked completely out on the team this year. This organization can't help but step on their own dicks constantly.
95-95 with five minutes left. No matter how pissed you are at a teammate, you don't sabotage the team.
Yea, that was an embarrassment.
It's not like we didn't already know that Rudy was a putz, however.
Twins have 11 arbitration eligible players and the deadline to tender/non-tender is 7pm tonight. Here's SS' rundown of the list. I'm surprised how little we're paying some of these guys for how good they've been. That the FO is squandering this window makes it all the more disappointing.
It's tough to do anything with a good team when the owners force you to cut 20% of your payroll.
Is the FO squandering it, or are the owners incapable of perceiving opportunities to capitalize on surplus value, both in their payroll and fan support?
Sorry, I was using FO as the organization. I was referring specifically to the owners.
This is pretty much all on ownership. A fish rots from the head down. What I appreciate least is the probability that they are going cheap and selling the team because other lines of business in the portfolio like commercial real estate have not performed up to expectations.
I think (hope?) that the right ownership group emerges and sees that there is a great opportunity here. The Twins have been a solid mid-market franchise despite owners that can't see the forest for the trees. We have decent major league talent, very strong minor league talent, a minor league system that is pretty well respected in terms of developing talent and a fan base that is just yearning for owners who will open up the purse a bit when the window is open. I think Falvey and company are really savvy and I hope a strong ownership group comes forward before some good talent in the front office bails out. When you approach a season with a fair amount of hope and excitement, only to watch ownership pull back and decrease payroll, it is demoralizing for everyone. I believe that the Pohlads watch the Rays and Indians compete just fine with small payrolls and they want to emulate that success. Can't wait to see them go.
CC: to Rhu-Ru.
Did you get a raised toilet seat for after your hip surgery? (I referred to it as the "bombardier chair" to the PA in my pre-op today; she smiled politely)
They sent me home with a walker to bring to surgery and also recommended some sort of bath chair thingy to get in and out of our shower/tub.
The taller toilet was the smartest thing I did pre-surgery, I think an Eljer Diplomat(?) elongated, and we liked it enough that over time I've been replacing our other cheap builder's standard (low) toilets. There's no need to add any other hardware to the toilet, particularly if you can back the walker up to it.
Do you know if you're getting posterior or anterior surgery? That will affect what types of motions will be verboten.
Hit me up on Messenger sometime if you need any other questionable advice...
Danke.

No surprise I think. Even if the Twins don't want to pay any of these players, it's better to keep them now and trade over the offseason.
