I think I've mentioned before that work is right near a convention center. My favorite times are when the anime and such conventions are town because the street is filled with kids in costumes walking in from their hotels. And my absolute favorite time is when the furries are in town like last week. Love explaining that one to coworkers.

Went to a bar association event held there once upon a time when they were still new. I was not impressed that time. I've had a few since then and it improved from "not impressed" to, as you say, "mid", but not better than that.
It's too bad. I have been visiting Mankato a bit recently due to some friends and the downtown has a few nice restaurants, places to hang. It could really use a tap room with decent beers.
MLB's draft lottery is happening and the Twins fell from 12th to 16th. I don't know the quality of the upcoming draft class however.
I think they have a second first round pick as well too, though, right?
The Twins have the fourth pick in the first competitive balance round (A). That round happens in between the first and second rounds. I'm not sure what the real number will be yet, but maybe mid-30s?
