  1. Trying to burn up the last (minus carryover) of the PTO this year. This is the one time of year pretty much everything is shut down on the RR contractor end of things. Going to stay home until the 2nd.

  2. Too late for Festivus, but I'm pretty confused by a recent change in our business expense form with work. I need to file one for each time I travel to the HQ, and when I was ready to file the most recent trip, every expense was flagged as needing a "business purpose" filled in. We already provide a business purpose for the trip, but for every expense? I'm going to find out if "I was hungry.", "I had to park my car." and other duh responses will be approved or not.

  3. Part of me has been wondering why Derek Falvey has not moved on from the Twins. I guess one perk he has is he gets a few months off from Christmas to the week or so before Spring Training.

    1. Front office executives usually only change organizations as part of a promotion. Falvey was already at the top with no higher baseball positions possible and he added the other POB(usiness)O title this season so it seems he will stick with it for a long time. Most fans dream of big free agents; we dream of better owners for next year's free agency.
