weather forecast for friday(?) in Minnesota showed snow and 30s in the north, 40s-60s and maybe drizzle in the middle, and 80s in the south. Absolute clown show for weather.
I am currently in Bloomington with grandpaS and grandmaS. Meanwhile, mrsS is to fly in on saturday evening, in the teeth of what could be nasty thunderstorms.
I'm mainly using it as an excuse to take Rick to City Museum (he's at the absolutely perfect age for it and I think he should be there as much as possible; man I wish I could have experienced that place as a kid), but I'd still like to get a baseball game out of it.
The Twins will be at least a Wild Card team
Seattle will win the ALWest
Toronto will have more wins than the Yankees
It will be a challenge for Miami to win 50 wins
Cincinnati will be in the playoff hunt in September
The Dodgers will make a blockbuster midseason trade
I had a dream last night that the Twins were down 43-38 in the 11th inning. I checked the boxscore and the Twins scored 24 runs in the 2nd inning to pull within two runs. They then built a lead, but gave up 11 runs in the 9th to send the game to extras. I woke up before the game was over.
I'm not sure if I'll have the luggage space or not, but does anyone have a Naz Reid towel I can borrow to take to the Giant's Causeway and Vatican next month?
Okay, I'm in. Rain delays have a different look, I'm seeing four games on my screen and they're just rotating the audio feed around. And now they've gone to full screen on the Cincinnati game.
Okay, so I am apparently WAY out of the loop. I have channel 1261 showing up on my Xfinity account, but it says no offers are available to subscribe at this time…? Where am I watching this thing?
Was just in Tokyo and saw MLB prominently featured on the strip in Shinjuku - big screens showing prominent Japanese players doing great things, lots of OHTANI, MAEDA, YAMAMOTO, etc.
The good news for me is that at about 2:30, I got an email from Midco that the Twins are available on their top tier system (which I already had). So it looks like I'll be able to watch the Twins this year without shelling out an extra hundred bucks to the Pohlads.
Sadly, the Friday off day will have (by far) the best StL weather of the entire series. I blame Manfred.
Blaming Manfred is always correct.
Aye.
drizzling here currently

I was thinking about going to the Sunday game, but not sure how well that's going to work out weather wise.
We're still warily watching the Saturday forecast

I’ll note that Katie’s pizza near the ballpark was a delight.

I noticed you didn’t predict a sale of the team.
Speaking of predictions, this is here.

Good grief! Were the Twins wearing purple?

I’ve got a bleach pen and some black fabric….
Should we lock in Twins game logs?
I'll take my historic Tuesday spot unless someone really wants it.
Monday Funday.
I can do Fridays again.
I can do Thursdays again.
I continue with Wednesdays.
Looking more like a 5:00 first pitch.
Looking more like they should have had it tomorrow
Ooh! I’ll actually see some of the game if that holds.
Been trying for the last hour to sign up for Twins.tv and it just keeps timing out on me. Rats.

And we'll just have to settle for 161-1!
...continuing the ongoing trend of losing before the day off.
