I was just thinking of that month I was super into William Onyeabor. That was fun.

Our town just elected a new mayor yesterday. The incumbent, who had been mayor since we moved here in 2017, got 35% of the vote. That seemed remarkable to me, there wasn't a big scandal or anything.
Then I realized that my perception is probably skewed since the town I grew up in has had the same mayor since 1992 and he won re-election last year with 72% of the vote.
With that win against the Nuggets* last night, the Wolves have the easiest schedule of games left in the league. Hoping they nudge themselves a spot or two up in the standings.
*I started following several Japanese Wolves fans on Twitter awhile back. All of the sudden, a bunch of the accounts were posting pictures of chicken nuggets they had purchased. This went on for a couple of days before I finally asked one of the guys what's up with all these pictures? He told me, "(B)eat the Nuggets!". I got myself a 4 pack yesterday.
Is it actually an easy schedule, though? I was just coming here to comment on who they pissed off to get this schedule. They have 5-game road trip over 10 days, with a home game on the 11th day. I guess some of those teams will be deep into tank mode, but they are still NBA teams. Getting out of the play-in would be really nice, though.
FROM SHAMS:Glen Taylor has agreed on Marc Lore-Alex Rodriguez acquiring 100% ownership of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx at the same $1.5 billion tag the sides reached in 2021, sources said.
Snow. Ugh. 3 Saturdays in a row, we were forecasted for winter storms that never really materialized. Lots of restaurant sales lost. Then overnight thru this afternoon we got well over 6 inches of heavy snow. I think I have over 3 hours of shoveling in so far today. Got home at 5 and saw my road had not been plowed. Cars in the ditch left and right. Snowblowed half my driveway (batteries died) and of courae the plow goes through and dumps a foot and a half at the end of my driveway. Another 15 minutes of shoveling that mess... they don't call it "heart attack snow" for nothing. Well, at least the Twins were victorious to lighten my mood.
I brought grandpaS home from the hospital this afternoon.
The first thing he did? Tottered away from his walker. Uh, dude. That's how you broke your skull a couple days ago. Please update your operating system.

Gotta take down all the April Fool's Day decorations today
Nathan Eovaldi with a Maddux last night
The fact that NAW was a throw in in that trade always makes me chuckle.

Haven't they actually been better on the road?
It seems like home games against inferior competition has been their problem.
These Wolves will make an easy schedule look tough
KG jersey to the rafters next year
