I like using bidness dinners as an excuse to try some weird drink I normally wouldn't. So, yeah, smoked Old Fashioned. Not bad.

These Wild overtime losses are draining. (But they're fun games too, and, if I'm being honest, this whole series has had better results than I've been anticipating.)
The Reds are calling up Chase Petty. Exile the Twins got Sonny Gray in return and got some good use out of him , I've been a little irked about that trade.
Whoops that wasn't suppose to post there
I get it, but there are rules about how much success Minnesota teams can have at one time and the Timberwolves are looking real good.
It doesn't look like the refs have been announced yet, but I'm assuming it'll be The Extender's crew so I expect things will be.... lopsided.
We'll always have those 30 seconds where it looked like Ryan Hartman won the game....
I thought the Game 5 overtime was one of the very few times all series where Las Vegas outmatched the Wild. It's been way closer than I dared hope.
The bartender at my daughter's wedding gave me a sample of some mezcal that he had in his private stock. Agave roasted or smoked over coals roasting a pig and it literally tasted like pork. I would haz again if I could remember the name.
Mezcal is a wonderful beverage. Try Mezcal Vago Elote sometime — it’s infused with roasted corn in between distillings and has a lovely popcorn note as a result.
We got a 1976 vintage Curling Stone shaped bourbon decanter at auction. Can't sell the decanter with the bourbon in it, so we decanted to a bottle. Anyone know if 50 year old Clem Harvey Bourbon is worth tasting? Probably going to give it to the neighbor to try. He's a whiskey drinker, I am not.
If the decanter is sealed, seems like it might be drinkable. And if not, I can’t imagine it would do any harm to taste it. I’d definitely try it, at least.
I’ll be curious how it ends up.
It was sealed, but the cork had deteriorated somewhat. I'll let y'all know when we taste it.
all right LFG.
I give them good grades for that first quarter.
I wanted them to at least stay up by 10 at the half, so I'm happy so far.
I give them good grades for that first quarter, slightly lowered by that incredibly stupid foul by Randle at the end.
They’re just not in our league.
(Which is to say truly that it’s just a really bad matchup for them - the worst they could’ve drawn - but it’s more fun to say they aren’t in our league)
I wonder what will happen in the second half if the Wolves start making their threes...
they're 6-30 and winning by ten...
they're 6 out of 30 and winning by ten.
I see you got 504 gatewayed, too
is it just me, or does it feel like we're being throttled like the old days?
Kevin Harlan kind of sounds like he's getting excited about the Wolves like the KG years so maybe it's just a throwback type of night.

They should probably start making them instead, though.
couldn't hurt.
It's kind of amazing just how unlikeable Doncic is.

lakers flopping all over the place
a 3!
Both Houston and Golden State are tougher matchups, but I’ll be enjoying this for a good while regardless.
Amazing that Dallas and Los Angeles, after one of the biggest blockbuster trades ever, are both out already.
I'm not sure which will be the tougher matchup, but I'm fine with them continuing to bruise each other up for a bit.
Awoooooo
Awooooo
Awooooo
They're all worth it.
I didn't know how much I needed to see James Corden's face on Luka's body
That was a great win. Ugly game, but a great win. Awooooo!
