May 11, 2025: Never A Doubt

Wolves tried their best to give that game away the first three quarters, but closed it out in the end. I said it before and still never thought I'd say it, but Randle (triple-double!) has probably been the biggest reason for the Wolves continued success in the postseason so far.

  1. I, of course, fell asleep during the third so I missed all the good basketball. It was my fault, though, I overextended myself yesterday by mowing the lawn then going for a bike ride seemingly entirely into the wind then washing the car.

That and ANT continuing to possess the ability to adapt. It seems like he is making better choices down the stretch and is willing to distribute the ball more when needed. Also, that slam dunk really brought the team out of their stupor!

  3. Umpire Adrian Johnson called the worst game of the season so far.

He missed 17 calls in the first 5.5 innings and 13 went against the Twins. When Rocco Baldelli complained, he was ejected.

Johnson missed 22 calls in the game and had a season's worst correct call rate of 83.1%.
