The rain has really greened things up so I started mowing the lawn and the mower died on me and won't start now. Might be time to clean the carb again. Or get a new mower.
All of my other lawn and garden tools are electric - pruner, leaf blower, chainsaw, trimmer. I think I'll take a look at electric mowers, my lawn's not all that big.
I wished I'd switched to our Ryobi years ago - sooo much nicer than the old Toro. Quieter, lighter, and I can store it in the basement when I finish mowing - no cool down or gas smell
Everything I have now is electric except my lawn mower. I have almost an acre and a lot of trees. I splurged a couple years ago on a John Deere zero turn and it sure makes mowing a bit easier.
I just switched my lawn mower to electric this spring; it seemed silly to not utilize the snowblower’s batteries half the year. The only things I have left are a two-stroke weed whacker and a two-stroke leaf blower gutter cleaner.
ehhhh, I'd rather 70's, especially this time of the year when winds are high. Low 60s are just a bit too cold to bike in with that going on.
I've learned not to be too picky about highs; what ends up eventually getting me is the overnight temps staying too high.
When I was in Japan last time it would finally “cool down” to about 90 at night. The weather was miserable that whole trip.

As much as I enjoy cleaning the carb, I'm glad I got an electric.

Ryobi here as well. I also bought the blower, which uses the same size battery.
I still love my Ego mower, but I do have a Ryobi trimmer that works really nicely.

Was thinking of turning the Twins on today, but realized I have not watched them at all during the streak. I will not turn them on!
