Game summary:  Mazatlan scored five in the first and four in the fifth.

Los Mochis:  Jason Botts was 2-for-4 and scored once.  Alexis Gomez hit a two-run homer.

Mazatlan:  Ivan Terrazas was 1-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in three.  Brett Harper was 2-for-4 and scored once.

HERMOSILLO 12, GUASAVE 4 IN GUASAVE

Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 1-for-2 with two walks and scored once.

Game summary:  Hermosillo led 4-0 after four and 6-3 after seven before scoring six in the eighth.

Hermosillo:  Edgar Gonzalez (Houston) struck out nine in five shutout innings, giving up three hits and two walks.  Jesse Gutierrez was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.

Game summary:  Obregon led 3-1, went behind 4-3, then scored twice in the ninth to win.  Willy Taveras hit a two-run, two-out, walk-off homer.

Culiacan:  Ronnier Mustelier (Yankees) was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk, scoring twice.  Emmanuel Valdez was 2-for-5 with a double.

Game summary:  Mexicali scored once in the eighth to tie the game at six.  Luis Juarez hit a two-out walk-off grand slam.
