Zulia: Evan Gattis (Atlanta) was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk. Freddy Galvis (Philadelphia) was 2-for-4 and scored once.
La Guaira: Julio De Paula struck out three in two shutout innings, allowing two hits. Cesar Suarez was 3-for-5 with a double.

Game summary: There was no score through six. Margarita got one in the seventh and Anzoategui got one in the eighth. Dave Sappelt (Cubs) hit a two-run homer in the ninth to give Margarita a 2-1 lead.
