Game summary:  Escogido scored three in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie.  They drew three walks in the inning, one intentional.

Cibao:  Nelson Cruz (Texas) was 1-for-4 with a double and scored once.  Juan Perez (Toronto) struck out two in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits.

Escogido:  Kris Johnson (Pittsburgh) struck out eleven and walked none in 7.1 innings.  He allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits.  Eury Perez (Washington) was 2-for-4 and scored once.
