I'm predicting a quiet game log.

    1. I'm here, now. Didn't realize the game started at a reasonable east coast time. 🙂

  2. That didn't take long. Ron, just because the Tigers have only six errors, the fewest in the AL, does not mean they have a good defense. Their defensive efficiency is fourth-worst. The Twins, sadly, are third-worst.

  3. I think it is safe to say the Twins are starting to feel disrespected for not being discussed as one of the league's best teams. The good news is they are going to take it out on the Tigers.

  4. I pulled that move in little league once. I got tossed pretty quickly.

      1. Pretending to be hit by a pitch and walking towards first base while shaking my hand/arm.

        1. If you'd stop blaming my boyfriend from like a season ago I'd stop blaming you. Actually, probably I wouldn't.

  5. Note to Sean: ctrl+F5 hasn't been working this evening at all. I just jumped from 13 comments to 33. If it's really just a browser thing, or if it's something more and I need to do something differently... just let me know. If toughing it out is the solution, then so be it. No worries or anything, just figured I'd let you know...

And now I feel kind of like a heel for bringing it up again.

    1. Don't feel bad about it.

Note: This assumes you're using Firefox still. I won't be able to get instructions for Chrome.
When you see it happening again, right-click somewhere in the page and select "View Page Info". Look at the time stamp that is displayed next to the "Modified:" label. My guess is that time is well into the past (five or ten minutes at least).

      1. Also, email me so we can try to figure out what's causing this. My name at this site. I can only respond in the evening though. Caching should be disabled for logged in users.

      2. Try 20+

Also, I've had it happen before where it's good to go, and then later on reverts back to an earlier version.

        1. Did some more fiddling. I also have a better idea of the region of the problem, though not the cause.

    2. Fiddled with some settings. May or may not help. I have one other idea to try if there are still issues tomorrow.

    1. Even when he was hitting, he was striking out a lot more than in the past. I'm not especially alarmed for the long term, but something seems off.

  6. The Twins were winning when my wife and I started watching a dvr'd Chopped featuring Joey Fatone. That is what I get for watching a Chopped featuring Joey Fatone.

  7. well, only down by a run. It stinks to give up a lead but the Tigers bullpen can easily give back runs.

  8. I hope I never have to see the footage of the Twins pitchers & Gardy talking about how good Miguel Cabrera is ever again.

  9. I wonder if Mauer is hurt. Most people I wouldn't think that in an 0-20 streak, but Mauer?

  10. Mauer batting below .290? WTH?

Been watching the game with a coworker at a local Omerha sportsbar. I totally spookied tubby's HR when I saw Pelfrey's pitch count and two runners on.

  11. If the Twins are gonna lose against the Tigers, might as well be Pelfrey (whom I don't care for much) vs Scherzer (who is favorite Tiger by far*).

*Haven't scanned the full roster. Don't know how Max Bowie could not be my fave though. Unless Craig James got signed on the sly.

  12. Well, you know what they say. Every team is going to win eleven games, and every team is going to lose eleven games. It's what you do in the other one hundred forty games that makes the difference. We know what the Twins are going to do in the other one hundred forty games: win them! We'll just have to settle for 151-11!
