May 12, 2013: Rough Week

Last night I learned that a friend from Best Buy in Apple Valley woke up unresponsive yesterday and is fighting for his life at the U of M. He's maybe 24 or 25, and is universally loved. Ugh.

    1. I read it just after I got home from our candlelight vigil for Nayasha. I'm about spent emotionally.

Last night nobody seemed to know yet, but Andrew's issue was cardiac and respiratory arrest. I have no idea why he of all people would go through such a thing, as he always took excellent care of himself. It may be genetic, as Nay's issue was, but if so he never mentioned it to me.

  1. I want to amend my comments from yesterday and say that LAX and American Airlines are terrible and i hate them.

    1. The voice at the other end of the line gave a sigh, like a mighty oak toppling into a great river, or something else that didn’t sound like a sigh if you gave it a moment’s thought.

Well worth the time to read this review, folks.

    2. The esteemed former blogger laid down in a horizontal position on his sofa with his head at one end and his feet on the other. He viewed the article linked to by the comment to which this is a reply. The article was transmitted wirelessly in response to a clicked link to his electronic tablet through an Internet browser application that is resident on the esteemed blogger's iPad 2, which is an electronic tablet. The former blogger read it on the iPad2's screen, working the touch sensitive screen to move throughout the article. The former blogger, who goes by an alias online, smiled as he read the words that were written by the professional author of the linked article. Having read a book by the subject of the article that was written previous by the subject, he laughed out loud, making an audible, yet unintelligible noise commonly understood to signal amusement. The laughter and general feeling of amusement was a result of reading the article, which somewhat mocked the subject and the former blogger, who is typing this response on his iPad2 and is also able to understand the premise of the mockery, having once before read a book written by the subject of the article, who is known to write books. After reading this comment after it was posted, the aliased former blogger, who is me, noticed a few grammatical and spelling errors and so he edited the comment through an editing feature by clicking on the edit link by using his finger to touch the touch sensitive screen, which was able to interpret my intention, me being the esteemed former blogger who wrote and then edited this comment at this website via the Internet, which would certainly be thought of as mysterious and almost mystical by alien life forces, should they exist. Likely though, the electronic iPad2 electronic tablet was probably invented by Jesus Christ's direct descendant under the watchful eye of her sworn protectors. Fibonacci.

    3. I'm not sure I'll be able to read any more Dan Brown stories after that. Oh, wait, I already gave up on reading anything written by Dan Brown.

  2. Confirmed Northern Waterthrush sighting today.
Like last week, it was the call that told me to look like that water's edge.
They sound like a Myrtle Warbler that really forcefully wants your attention.

  3. So, 17 19 people were injured today at a second line parade in the 7th ward of New Orleans when some d-bag(s) shot into the crowd. I know that this can get pretty forbidden pretty quickly, but hot damn people stop fucking shooting each other. At the very least, please stop shooting people at parades and gatherings where there are a lot of folks you don't intend on hurting.
