Let's hope Deduno didn't forget his WBC magic tonight.

I am predicting the Twins will either win or lose this game.
RUNS WILL BE SCORED!!!
Someone at work said that they could get snow in the Berkshires tonite. Man.
Deduno does not give up a home run to Cabrera. I'm already happy.
No runs scored in the first inning either!
Twins pitcher of the year!
Tigger-talkers say that was a slap-daddy.
he was out
is Joe West umping 2nd?
Robot umps!
Uh, did we do something wrong there?
Booooo.
Ugh. Well- at least it wasn't in the first inning?
I'd say that isn't where you throw a pitch to Cabrera, but as the .gif from the CoC showed, I think the best way to pitch to him is maybe just throw at his feet.
Vidalia onions chopped and fried in olive oil
Tofu cubes rolled in flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper
Chopped kale
Chopped pineapple
Some soy sauce at the very end
Surprisingly good.
I think Parm saved that HR
ooooh, hit the fence.
Yeah, a hit would be nice/special/long-weekend-cmon-guys!
Yeah, Gladden - you had a moustache in 7th grade - maybe on the top of your head.
+10 Danny - Deduno has good movement on his throw to first.
rally inning time
the Reds-Cubs are on WGN and maybe because the Reds are not on national TV a lot and I pay lesser attention to the National League, but my gosh Joey Votto=beast. .358/.484/.545/1.030 slash line. 41 BB, 39 Ks. He IS Mauer with power!
That's funny, as Votto was the subject of the latest dumb "scouts vs. stats" column I read today. Although notice the only "old-school" guy who is actually named is an announcer, cause I don't think you'll find a real scout willing to neg on Votto's production on the record.
no hitter alert
back to back 1-2-3 innings. is that allowed ?
Luck. We need more summat (a hit).
*peeks in* Oh, crap! *sneaks back out*
wow -- so the starting pitching is so bad, it's affecting the offense, too?!
no hitter
I want to listen to some Van Halen now.
16 outs!
And that's it.

What's more important to the WGOMery:
1) Not getting no-hit
2) Not losing to Detroilet
3) Not getting no-hit by Det
I think #1. #2 is inevitable.
Just saw in the news scroll at the bottom that Valencia hit a two-run homer.
Shoot, even Plouffe's done that.
yay! a baserunner! its been like 6 innings
No pressure Colabello.
was that a strike?
Fifthly Detroit Animals.
right now, the Twins OF is Arcia LF, Parmelee CF, Doumit RF
rock bottom baby
Good thing the relievers know how to strike out batters.
Willingham better at least walk to get a high(er) average hitter up in Morneau.
Strikezone seems to have grown several inches.
Joe West thinks the zone is too small
Mauer!
JOEEEE!!
JMIFAABB.
fairly adept is putting it mildly
He did strike out twice.
I've seen the Twins win many games where the opponent has scored six runs; none where we've scored zero. I'm putting the onus on the offense this time.
Offense hasn't been good, but gotta give a lot of credit to Sanchez. When you get 12 Ks, you're dealing.
We finally figured out how to keep the other team from scoring in the first inning. Today, we just extend that to the other eight innings, plus the offense uses a few of the runs they saved up from last night. We'll just have to settle for 135-27!

HTB - Detroiler Sqwauker moniker forTwin's - heavily taxed bullpen.
I think Swarzak will see action tonight.
